Fingerprint Requirement (All employees)You will need to get your fingerprints taken for background checking purposes at your expense. We recommend you get them taken at the Wexford County Sheriff’s Department and the cost will be approximately $65.00. Please complete the form and then return it to Lake City Area Schools’ Central Office (710 Mitchell Street, Lake City) when you have them had them taken.

LAKE CITY AREA SCHOOLS uses EDUStaff or Dean (Transportation) Staffing Services for our substitute Teacher, Para-professional, Custodial/Maintenance, Food Service, and/or Clerical Substitutes.

Transportation Applicants - Contact Connie Asher, Transportation Director at 231-839-6047.There is an uncompensated estimated time commitment of 4-6 hours for application, paperwork, training, and other processing. Each applicant is responsible for the cost of fingerprinting (approximately $70.00) as well as the travel to obtain the fingerprints (generally in Cadillac).
